Brandon Sheppard Seals Week Three Hell Tour Title with Clarksville Victory

Atomic and Muskingum Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Events Up Next

NEW BERLIN, Ill. (06/30/25) – Brandon Sheppard closed out Week Three of the DIRTcar Summer Nationals in style, capturing a $5,000 victory in Sunday’s finale at Clarksville Speedway aboard his Valvoline / Sheppard Auto Sales & Salvage / Realtree No. B5 Late Model.

Sheppard outran back-to-back Hell Tour winner Jason Feger in the 40-lap feature at the Tennessee oval, which hosted its final Summer Nationals event. In addition to the race win, Sheppard secured the Week Three points title, earning a $10,000 bonus and bringing his weekend earnings to $15,000.

"Man, we've had a great car all week long. Just for some reason I haven't been able to heat race and put a full night together. Tonight we're able to do that," Sheppard said, adding that "if you asked me at the beginning of the week which one I was going to win, I wouldn't have said this one for sure."

Campaigning his family-owned No. B5 Late Model, Sheppard opened the week on Tuesday at Springfield Raceway, where he advanced 14 spots from a B-Main transfer to finish third—kickstarting a stretch of five consecutive podium finishes.

After Wednesday’s rainout at Tri-City Speedway, Sheppard came within inches of capturing his second Herald & Review 100 on Thursday at Macon Speedway, finishing just 0.118 seconds behind winner Trey Mills.

He remained consistent throughout the weekend with third-place finishes on Friday at Farmer City Raceway and Saturday at Highland Speedway, before capping the week with a dominant performance at Clarksville Speedway.

Competing against a 33-car DIRTcar Late Model field at the Tennessee oval, Sheppard led all but the opening lap of the feature to notch his third win of the season and the 28th DIRTcar Summer Nationals victory of his career.

Sheppard returns to action this weekend in the Rocket1 Racing No. 1 Late Model as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series heads to Ohio for a doubleheader. The weekend begins Friday at Atomic Speedway and continues Saturday with the $15,000-to-win Freedom 60 at Muskingum County Speedway.
