Driver Information

Delaney Gray, a 13-year-old racer from La Grange, N.C., first got her feet wet in the racing world in 2021 by racing a Bandolero.

She became a familiar face both during the Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway and at New All American Speedway in Jacksonville, N.C. During her time racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Gray helped raise money to support Speedway Children's Charities.

By the end of the summer, Gray had raised a whopping $10,010 for the charity, more than any other Bandolero team.

During the 2022 season Gray competed in the Bandolero division at multiple tracks in North Carolina. She enjoyed a successful season that included two wins, two poles and multiple top five finishes. She also set track records at New River All American Speedway and Southern National Motorsports Park.

She finished the 2022 season ranked second in the Bandolero class at New River and was named the Most Improved Driver for 2022.

The 2023 season saw her finish second in the Bandolero standings at New River All American Speedway while also finishing the season ranked fourth in the INEX North Carolina State standings while scoring 11 wins overall. She also received the Sportsmanship Award and the Most Improved Driver Award from New River.

Gray's 2024 season has been nothing short of fantastic. She earned 21 victories and finished inside the top five in 31 races. She earned the 2024 NC State Bandolero Bandit Championship, becoming the first female to do so.

She stepped her game up even further in 2025 by advancing to the Allison Legacy Series, where she scored two wins and was named Rookie of the Year.
