Bret Ervin Racing Roars to KWS Round Four

Saturday night in Marysville, CA, Andy Gregg will lead his Bret Ervin Racing/7 Industries/Eagle No.53 into round number four of the 2011 Golden State King of the West Series at Marysville Raceway Park.

Fresh off of his season best fifth place finish at Ocean Speedway, Gregg is poised to once again stand in victory lane at the track he has conquered twice in the past.

“I like the track in Marysville,” said Gregg. “I have been fortunate to win on both the old configuration as well as the new configuration. I really like the long straights and tight corners, its makes for some pretty interesting racing.”

Gregg heads into this weekends race currently sitting fifth in the series standings tied with 13 time champion Brent Kaeding.

“We’re sitting in a pretty good spot right now, and we would all love to keep getting better on a week by week basis,” added Gregg. “Everywhere we have gone this year has been a little different then it normally is, so I’m excited to see how this weekend plays out.

This weekends event at MRP will also offer a few exciting extras for all of our fans. Prior to the event, fans are encouraged to show up early to watch and have a chance to be on next weeks segment of King of the West Tonight. Aside from that the KWS staff will be on hand with the debut of the T-shirt cannon, firing off T-shirts into the grandstands all night.

With no support classes on hand for this weekends event, fans are encouraged to show up early as they will not want to miss any of the action. Grandstands are slated to open at 5 pm with qualifying scheduled to roll off promptly at 6.
