Driver Information

I started racing in 1982 at Speedway 90 in China, Texas in the mini-stock class. I then moved to Midgets in 1984. I ran midgets from 1984 thru 1994 then started running IMCA Modifieds at various tracks in Texas and in 1998 I started driving for my Brother John DeWitt. I went back to the midgets in 1999 running with the Texas Winged Midget Association and various SMRS races in Texas and Oklahoma through 2004. In 2005 I added mini-sprints to my schedule and drove for my friend John Coyle and from 2006 through 2009 I was not only a driver, but the President of the Southern States Midget Association. After the 2009 season I decided to sell off my midget operation and use the funds to start my own company DeWitt Calibration Services and did not race again until 2020 when I started driving for my brother John in his IMCA Modified again and we are all having fun to this day :-)
