Driver Information

Wesley Smith was born in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1999. Wesley first got in to a racing kart at the age of 4, the first year he raced at Red River Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas and Seymour Speedway in Seymour, Texas. The first 4 years were learning years with a few wins. In 2007 his Grand dad Emery bought Wesley a QRC wing kart. Wesley took to the new kart very well and won the Trophy Dash and led most of the feature at the Santa Shootout in the new karts first outing that year. The following year at 8 years old he won his first track championship in the Gold plate Animal Class at Seymour Speedway. Wesley now calls Nixa, Missouri home.

In 2012 Wesley's dad sold everything related to karting and purchased a used Legends Car. Wesley took to the Legend car right away and races in the Young Lions Dirt division. In his first year he had a very impressive run with 9 wins in the Young Lions and a 3rd and 4th in the Adults division, Wesley also won the Points championship at Springfield raceway and the INEX Dirt Nationals at Elko Speedway in Elko Minnesota
