Driver Information

Logan Chapman isn't your typical 15 year old, he's a race car driver. Logan was never interested in playing hockey or baseball. He always wanted to follow in his father's foot-steps and become a racecar driver. In 2017 Logan's dream would finally come true. Logan along with his parents Jason & Melissa Chapman & little sister Addyson would help him compete in the Micro Sprint Division at Grandbend Speedway.
Logan has come a long way since his rookie year in 2017.
The Young driver from Sarnia has placed himself in championship contention for the last three years. In 2018 the team fell short with two racing incidents back to back at the end of the season. In 2019 Logan would find himself fighting for the Jr B Sprint trophy one more time. This would be the young drivers last year in the Jr B division before moving to the Jr A division. Logan would rack up Seven wins & Nine 2nd place finishes in his battle for the Jr B championship. Logan would fight till the end but would come up six points short of winning the championship.
Logan and his team sat idle for 2020 like most teams did, but 2021 would bring a new car, a new attitude and new opportunities. At the start of the season Logan was offered a seat in the #8 Auto Fusion Towing Outlaw Sprint Car, on top of running his #01 Junior Sprint car the young driver would find himself on double duty most nights. With only his 2nd start in the outlaw sprint the young driver would find himself running up front with some of the best in the business. Now the outlaw class isn't full of kids Logan is running with people three times his age.. With only his 2nd start in the #8 Outlaw Sprint Logan would battle his way to the front winning his first Outlaw Sprint race and his first Win of 2021. Logan ended up third in points in the outlaw class and fifth in the Jr Sprint class. Logan has also taken home best appearing car for 2017,2018 & 2019.
The 2022 Season has presented an amazing opportunity for Logan and the JL Motorsports Team. Logan will run a full schedule in his #01 Outlaw Sprint and three races in an Ontario Pro Sprint. Logan will be the youngest driver to ever start a race in a Ontario Pro Sprint.

This season we're heading back to the bull-ring Grandbend Speedway. This track holds alot of amazing memories for the 01 team. We're bringing an ass kicker of a pro Sprint along with a new team to help us lock down those checkered flags and chase another championship.
