Driver Information

Started racing in 1983 with drag racing and in 1994, I saw the error of my ways and started circle track racing. Started racing at Noise Park in the Mini Stocks for a few years (finished third place in 1999 and was the 2000 Mini Stock season champ). Moved up to the Pure Stock class and finished second place in the 2001 season. I was president of the Snake River Stock Car Association during the 1999 season, and was involved with track administration for about three years. I took a few years off from racing, and my passion for the sport launched me into my first IMCA Modified in 2004. I've raced at Idaho Falls Raceway (formerly known as Noise Park), Atomic Motor Raceway, ran one summer in the Wild West Tour, and ran one Dakota Classic Tour. Since the rebuild of the SRSCA in 2015, there hasn't been a waking hour that I haven't been thinking about my car, my wife's car, the association, or a project at the track. Racing is in my blood! My wife says every day with me is an adventure!

Career Highlights

Worked for Petroleum Helicopters during 1987/1988 and supported drill rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Missed the north and moved fo the Salt Lake area with Rocky Mountain Helicoptors (1988 - 1991). Was a roving helicopter mechanic, so I traveled all over the west - from Alaska fo Texas. Moved to Idaho Falls with the Life Flight Air Service. Rocky Mountain lost that contract, and I started working at the Idaho National Lab as an Industrial Mechanic (pumps, compressors, heaters, air conditioners). I've been at the Site 24 years.
