Driver Information

Joe Bob began his racing career in August 2001 at age 9. He started out racing a go-kart in Oklahoma City. Also in the summer of 2001, he took an interest in racing 4-wheelers. In 2002 he raced his 4-wheeler a full season of Friday night at the Lawton MotoCross Park finishing 2nd in the point standing. That same year, he also raced, part of a session, in a Mini-Sprint for Hendrick's Chassis at the I-44 Speedway in OKC. 2003 was another full season of MotoCross. He ended the year as a 4-wheeler point's champion. In 2004 we purchased a mini-sprint. Joe Bob raced every Friday night at the Faxon Speedway. His first year was great! He received "Rookie of the year" and Points' Champion. 2005 season at the Faxon Speedway was cut short. After 8 nights of racing, the speedway closed. Again, he was the point leader. We did travel to Wichita Falls, Texas and Oklahoma City numerous times to race bringing home several "A" feature wins.

The 2006 season at Lawton was another great year for Joe Bob. He became the youngest driver (age 13) to ever win an "A" feature in the history of the Lawton Speedway. This season ended with with Joe Bob finishing 5th in the overall points chase. At the awards banquet, Joe Bob received 3 awards: 5th place in the overall point standings for championship Sprints, one for Sportsmanship and the other for Fan Favorite. Going into the 2007 season with these 3 awards to backup, goals were set high. Joe Bob ended the season improving to a 3rd place in overall point standings for Championship Sprints, while still maintaining the award for Sportsmanship as well as being voted Fan Favorite. 2008 resulted in a runner up position to the track champion. Since then Joe Bob won the 2009 Champ Sprint Track Championship, and competed in the 2010 Chili Bowl Midget Nationals. While also competing with the Oil Capital Racing Series (OCRS).

In his 10 years of racing, Joe Bob has had many accomplishments and received a number of awards.
