NCRA Crate Late Models and Mod Lites Ready for Tuesday Night at Belleville!

Park City, Kansas – July 2, 2018 - The National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products crate late model and mod lite divisions are gearing up for one night of race action on this Independence Holiday as both divisions head to the Belleville High Banks Speedway in Belleville, Kansas tomorrow (Tuesday) night, July 3rd.

The crate late models originally scheduled 81 Speedway in Park City appearance for Wednesday night has been rescheduled for Saturday night, September 29th.

It’s a tight race for the current points lead in the crate late model division as the top five drivers are all within fifty points of each other and led by current series rookie of the year contender Brandon Givens. The Hutchinson resident comes into Tuesday night with a slim five-point-lead over former series champion Delbert Smith of Wichita. Former series co-champion Daniel Smith of Beloit sits just ten points out of the point lead while Dusty Leonard of Marysville is twenty points out of the lead and three-time series champion Chris Kratzer of Wichita is fifty points out of first place.

Sixth through tenth in the current point standings are Jimmy Segraves (-115), Nebraska’s Cory Dumpert and Adam Popp (-145), Adam Schrag (-245) and Tony Foster (-345).

Also on the NCRA at Belleville appearance, the series mod lite division will be in action on the tracks small track inside the huge half-mile oval. This will be race four on the 2018 race season with all eyes focused on beating that #1JR of three-time and defending tour champion Justin Kinderknecht of Salina, Kansas. Kinderknecht has won all three events that have been held thus far this season and comes into the Tuesday race action with a seventy-five-point lead over
Tyler Bradshaw. Trace Ayers sits just eighty points out of the lead while Dustin Forsberg is 95 points out of the top spot.

Completing the top ten in NCRA mod lite point standings are Cody Kretchmar, John Miranda, Cody Ervin, Randy Bryan, Chris Unruh and Jeremy Heim.

Pit gates will open at 5:00 PM with race action slated for a 7:30 PM start time. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults while children grandstand admission for ages 6-12 are just $10.

In the staging area: The series mod lite division will be action on Saturday night, July 14th at 81 Speedway and on the race card with the series sprint car division. The crate late models next event, after Belleville, will be on Saturday night, July 28th at Thunder Hill Speedway in Mayetta, Kansas.
