FORMER CHIEF STEWARD AND BOARD MEMEBER LEON CARTER PASS'S
The NCRA Office received word today of the passing of Leon Carter, of Tulsa, Oklahoma last Thursday (February 4, 2021).
Leon was with the National Championship Racing Association replacing Stan Durett as a stock holder.
Leon joined NCRA as a Chief Steward in the early 80's then became a stock holder, before retiring in the early 90's from the series.
Leon was instrumental over the Late Model Series for many years as the Chief Steward.
A Celebration of Life for Leon has been placed on hold due to Covid at this time.
