Atomic Speedway’s Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Race Rained Out for July 19th
WAVERLY, OHIO (July 18, 2025)—Officials with Atomic Speedway in Waverly, Ohio and the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP have announced the cancellation of Saturday’s Summer Sizzle. With the Weather Prediction Center’s latest rainfall forecast showing a broad swath of rain chances throughout the Ohio Valley into the weekend plus the area being under a Flood Watch, officials have decided to pull the plug on the event early enough allowing race teams and fans to make other weekend plans. The event will not be made up.
The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series will be back in action on Friday August 1 at Stephen Breeding’s Hidden Hollow Speedway in Colson, Ky. paying $5,000-to-win for the Coal Miner’s Classic. The tour will then move to Jarrod Breeding’s 201 Speedway in Sitka, Ky. paying $5,000-to-win for the Tim Breeding Memorial. Both events will be triple sanctioned with the Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series and the Ultimate Heart of America Super Late Model Series.
