White Sees Progress During Second Straight Season on Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour

Inside Line Promotions – LINDSAY, Okla. (Dec. 3, 2018) – Progress is the best word to describe the 2018 season for Harli White.

White surpassed her Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com marks from last season when she became only the third woman to ever complete a full season on the road with the series. Her two top fives and 10 top 10s in ASCS National Tour competition this year were both career bests. She also recorded a career-best runner-up result with the series.

“For the first time on the ASCS National Tour I was a contender for the win,” she said. “That was the biggest highlight being able to race for the lead and finishing in the top three and top five. More than anything it got my confidence up.

“The gains from last year to this year showed and hopefully we can continue that trend next year and compete for wins consistently.”

White noted the opportunity wouldn’t be available without the support of her sponsors throughout the season.

“We have a lot of great sponsors who provide us the opportunity to race across the country,” she said. “I’m grateful for each and every one of them and it’s our goal to continue to progress.”

White will stay busy throughout this offseason as she ventures to Australia for the second time in her career.

“I’m really excited for the opportunity,” she said. “Plus, it’s a big deal for any driver to stay in the seat all offseason. To come out of our car and get into another car before next season starts should help so you’re not struggling to knock the rust off once the 2019 season begins.”
