(Pulaski, PA)...It was a weekend of firsts in the various Hovis Auto & Truck Supply racing divisions this past weekend; first and foremost, it was the first time this season that all of the events scheduled in the RUSH Late Model, Sportsman Modified, Pro-Mod, Sprint Car and Stock Car divisions took place without any interruption from Mother Nature. In addition to providing lots of great racing action the weekend also saw Ian Degolier score his career first RUSH Pro-Mod victory and Todd English made his first visit to Victory Lane in RUSH Sportsman Modifed action. Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model Rick Hendrick Chevrolet Weekly Series action had several competitors visiting Victory Lane for the first time in 2025 as Austin Allen was victorious at Stateline Speedway, Daryl Charlier was the winner at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, David Pangrazio tallied the win at The Dirt Track at Genesee, Shane Crotty scored the victory at Eriez Speedway and Austin Hauser picked up the checkered at Bradford Speedway. Luke Mulichak added his name to the Winner’s List in Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Sprint Car Born2Run Lubricants as he collected his first ever win at Tri-City Raceway Park.

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model action at McKean County Speedway on Friday saw Bill Holmes start on the pole. The New York driver went on to lead every lap of the 20-lap main event to score his career first win at the PA speedway. The win was also Holmes’ second of the year inRick Hendrick City Chevrolet Weekly Series action. Austin Hauser came home in the second spot with Zach Carley getting third. Paul Grigsby finished fourth and Jeremy Wonderling, who started at the tail of the field came in fifth.

Saturday evening at Stateline Speedway fourth place starter Austin Allen wasted little time moving to the front of the pack. The Canisteo, NY driver went on to lead the entire distance of the 20-lap feature event to tally his first victory of the 2025 season. Sixth place starter Jason Genco finished in the second position with Scott Gurdak third. Andy Michael and Jeff Hoffman rounded out the top five.

Dave DuBois and Jon Rivers led the RUSH Late Model field to green Saturday evening at The Dirt Track at Genesee with DuBois showing the way for the first four laps. David Pangrazio took the top spot on lap five and went on to score a convincing 4.306 second win over DuBois. It was also Pangrazio’s first divisional win of the year. Seventh place starter Bill Holmes came home in third with Paul Grigsby in fourth. Jimmy Johnson finished fifth.

Corry, PA driver Shane Crotty was another first-time winner this past weekend. Crotty started in the fourth position of Sunday’s Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model main event at Eriez Speedway but quickly took the top spot and went on to score a 3.120 second win over Andrew Chess. Jason Genco finished in the third position for the second consecutive night with David Parker in fourth and Jacob Peterson finishing fifth.

Veteran Daryl Charlier and defending divisional champion Kassidy Kamicker led the 20-lap Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model feature to the green Saturday at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway but it was third place starter Tom Klein who grabbed the top spot. Klein pulled away from the pack in the early laps but by the halfway mark Charlier began closing in. Charlier took the top spot on lap 15 and went on to score his first win of the season at the speedway. Sixth place starter Brandon Burgoon finished in second with Klein getting third. Kamicker and Zach Gunn completed the top five.

Austin Hauser scored his first win of the season Sunday evening at Bradford Speedway in Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model action. Hauser was challenged by current divisional points leader Jake Wilberthroughout the 25-lap feature event. At the finish it was Hauser nipping Wilber for the victory. Seventh place starter Kurt Stebbins used the high side of the speedway to finish in the third spot with Dustin Waters and Garrett Mott rounding out the top five.

The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model action at Raceway 7 saw Bill Henry and Dave Hess, Jr. lead the field to green in the 25-lap "Dave Levesque Memorial". Henry led the entire distance of the event and held off the late race challenges of Hess, Jr. Henry crossed the finish line first to defeat Hess by 0.440 seconds and remain unbeaten in feature action at the Conneaut, Ohio oval this year. The City Chevrolet Weekly Series victory was worth $2,500 for Henry! Jason Genco, Ashton Briggs, and Logen Lockhart completed the top five.

Mike Laughard tallied win number three of the 2025 season on Friday at Dog Hollow Speedway. Laughard defeated Ryan Hare, Bubby Tharp, Tom Synder and Leo Iarrapino.

Muskingum County Speedway hosted the Hovis Auto& Truck Supply RUSH Late Models for a special $1,000 to win show on Saturday. Logan Reed led the first lap before second place starter Anthony Kinkade took the lead. Kinkade led the remainder of the 20-lap event to tally his second victory of the season at the track. Reed, Lincon Smith, Brian Nethers and Bud Watson completed the top five.

Joe Layfield and Steve LeBarron led the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model action at Woodhull Raceway to the green Saturday evening. LeBarron immediately took command and went on to score the victory, which was his third of the season at the New York oval. The 20-lap event went caution free with LeBarron scoring the 5.228 second victory over last week’s winner Brett Marlatt. Jacob Wilber, Marshall O’Brien, and Joe Layfield followed.

The lone Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Sportsman Modified event of the weekend took place Friday evening at Tri-City Raceway Park. Jacob Rutana led the early laps until caution flew for Cole Edwards when he slowed on the backstretch. When racing action resumed Todd English used the cushion to power by Rutana and go on for his career first RUSH victory worth $600. Rutana held on for the runner-up spot with Cole Holden getting third. Karsten King and Kyle Hanshaw finished in fourth and fifth.

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Sprint Car Born2Run Lubricants competitors were in action at Tri-City Raceway Park on Friday. Two Billy's Garage Weekly Series main events were on tap; in addition to the regularly scheduled action, the rained out main event from July 18thwas also completed. Luke Mulichak weathered five cautions and held off the challenges of Wyatt Long to score his career first divisional victory. Joe Buccola, Blaze Myers, and Zach Morrow completed the top five.

In the second main event Zach Morrow led the 15-lap event wire to wire to score his first victory of the season at the Franklin, PA oval. It was also Morrow’s second win in Billy’s Garage Weekly Series’ action this season. Blaze Myers came home in the runner-up spot with Ricky Tucker II, Joe Buccola and Cooper Fritz rounding out the top five.

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Pro-Mod teams had a busy three race weekend that began Friday evening at McKean County Raceway.The main event saw Josh Wilcox, Al Brewer and Ed Carley provide fans with a great three-car battle for the first half of the 15-lap main event. The trio swapped the lead multiple times in the early laps as Wilcox led lap five, Brewer took over on lap six and Wilcox came back to lead laps seven and eight. A caution on lap eight slowed the field but when the racing action resumed Wilcox took off and would have a straightaway lead when the checkered flag waved. Brewer held on for second with Carley getting third. Tyler Oakes and Derek Allen completed the top five.

Saturday night at Stateline Speedway veteran Al Brewer led the entire distance of the RUSH Pro-Mod feature event to tally his third victory of the season. Tyler Oakes, and Josh Wilcox rounded out the top three. Cody Rickard finished in fourth with Josh Canfield in fifth.

Sunday evening at Bradford Speedway was one that Ian Degolier will never forget as the former Mini Stock competitor started on the pole and went on to score his career first RUSH Pro-Mod victory. Paul Nelson, Josh Canfield, Al Brewer, and Derek Austin completed the top five.

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Stock Car competitors are keeping busy this season as once again they had three consecutive nights of racing action. The division began the weekend Friday evening at Tri-City Raceway Park. Camron Kramer led the first two laps before a caution slowed the field. On the restart Raiddan Wilson took the top spot however Kramer kept the pressure on, and the duo thrilled the fans with some great racing action. Kramer made one final attempt to get the lead as the two drivers came to the checkered but unfortunately, he spun in turn four and Wilson went on to score his third victory of the season at the Venango County facility. Darr Diegelman came home in second followed by William Baker. Kramer recovered to finish fourth with Cole Laskey in fifth.

On Saturday evening RUSH Stock Car action moved to Stateline Speedway. Raiddan Wilson started on the pole and led the entire distance of the 15-lap main event to score victory number two of the weekend. Fifth place starter Kaden Michael came home in second with Darr Diegelman third. Cole Strickland and Ken Moore, Sr. completed the top five.

RUSH Stock Car teams completed the weekend at Eriez Speedway on Sunday. Jamestown, NY competitor Cole Strickland picked up the win defeating Alex Bush. Raiddan Wilson, David McAvoy and Mark Lawrence rounded out the top five.

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Touring Series action is scheduled at Stateline Speedway on Saturday with the “Manufacturers Night Presented by MSD Performance taking place Sunday at Eriez Speedway. Both events will pay $4,000 to win and Sunday’s event will see more than $34,000 in giveaways distributed to the competitors in attendance.

Coming up this weekend you can also catch Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet Weekly Series at Dog Hollow Speedway, Georgetown SpeedwayandRaceway 7 on Friday. Saturday evening the action moves to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, Tyler County Speedway, Winchester VA Speedwayand Woodhull Raceway.

RUSH Sprint Car teams will also have their Manufacturers Night" presented by MSD Performance this weekend at Tri-City Raceway Park. More than $14,000 in valuable giveaways will be distributed to the teams in attendance. The Sprint Car competitors will then travel to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway Saturday evening for a $600 to win event.

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Sportsman Modified teams will be in action as the "Route 7 Rumble" Series returns this weekend. Friday evening the teams will be in action at Raceway 7 before competing at Sharon Speedway on Saturday.

RUSH Stock Car competitors are slated for action Friday at Tri-City Raceway, Saturday at Stateline Speedway before heading to Eriez Speedway on Sunday. It will also be "Manufacturers Night" presented by MSD Performance for the division with approximately $9,000 in products to be distributed.

The lone RUSH Pro Mod event this weekend is scheduled for Saturday evening at Stateline Speedway.

The summer may be winding down but there definitely is not shortage of RUSH racing action taking place in the region. Be sure to get out and enjoy it as you will not be disappointed.
