Track Information

Formerly known as capitol speedway, now is the all new Thunder Valley Speedway.

Thunder Valley Speedway is one of Alaska's most well established yet newest race track facilities as it’s currently underway to be a completely updated, modernized and inventive racing facility like Alaska has yet to experience.

The new facility will host a larger dirt track with wider lanes and higher banks for faster and more competitive racing. There will also be a dirt oval go kart track at the facility that will provide a place for kids and adults to compete in several different classes with their karts.

There will be a stadium sized dirt bike / sxs race track at the new facility as well!

There will also be an “arrive and drive” go kart track to provide the public with a place to just show up and race our karts on their own oval dirt track!!

Right next to the go kart track will be the Mini Thunder speedway for the young kids to enjoy and compete on the mini course with hills and turns on our power wheels race trucks!

The Thunder bar and grill will be re playing the days races on several flat screens TVs throughout the indoor and outdoor area.
Fully equipped with outdoor pool tables, foos ball, corn hole as well as great food and drinks.

Thunder bar and grill will also have the latest dirt track racing games available to compete against each other
