Kraig Kinser Partners With Blud Lubricants for Remainder of World of Outlaws Season

Kinser competed in a trio of World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series events last week beginning Wednesday at Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, S.D., during the Star Spangled Showdown.
He qualified eighth quickest and advanced from third to second place in a heat race to earn a spot into the dash. A third-place run in the dash lined him up on the inside of the second row for the A Main.
“We got into the dash and that’s what you want to do,” he said. “That gave us a leg up for the A Main. It was a tricky track. I lost a couple of spots on restarts. Once we got going the car was good. All in all, it was a solid day.”
Kinser finished with a seventh-place result, which was his 10th top 10 of the season.
He then ventured to Cedar Lake Speedway for the FVP Platinum Battery Showdown. Kinser charged from 20th to 11th in Friday’s main event, which was postponed to Saturday because of rain.
“Going forward and passing that many cars is positive,” he said. “It was nice to get a good run in. It would have been a heavier and narrow track on Friday so we were fortunate it widened out on Saturday. We still had some issues getting ahold of the slick stuff, but the wider track probably helped us.”
Unfortunately, a mechanical problem ended the Saturday night show early for Kinser, who was credited with a 23rd-place finish.
