Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series
Bonus Money up for grabs in doubleheader at Penton Raceway and Talladega Short Track
Woodruff, S.C. (July 15th, 2025) – Rolling into the tour's busiest stretch of the year, the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series will kick off a late-July weekend at Penton (Ala.) Raceway on Friday, July 25th, for the $10,000-to-win David Brackett & Danny Carswell Memorial. Track sponsors have put up extra money for the winner's purse and positions second through fifth. Full payout can be viewed further down this page.
On Saturday, July 26th, the series will make its long-awaited debut at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the Alfred Gurley Memorial. A pair of 25-lap features headline the night which pay $2,525 each to the winners. The winner of the first feature will pill draw a Zero, Four, or Six for invert to start the second feature.
