First race of the season at US 24

We arrived at US 24 on a beautiful Saturday for the first race of the season. As always, there is some amount of anticipation as to what the night will hold. Trucks and trailers continued to arrive for 3 solid hours. Once the drivers meeting was over we got ready to qualify, which put Aiden in the 2nd group starting 3rd. Aiden made his way to first place within the first lap and stayed there until the checkers came out!!! Aiden got out of the car at the trailer and talked to Rod about how the car was handling and what changes needed to be made. At feature time Aiden was excited and ready to race, he started in the 4th position and drove smart, passing other drivers one at a time. Aiden reeled the leader in and made a clean pass to take the lead with 7 laps to go and never looked back. What a great race!
