Smith lands podium finish with Southern All Stars at North Georgia Speedway
Back in his home state of Georgia, Garrett Smith rolled into North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Ga.) on Friday afternoon to kick off a doubleheader weekend with the Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series.
Garrett put down the second-fastest lap in his qualifying group and started from the second-row in the 40-lap feature and drove to a podium finish in third. He trailed Zack Mitchell and Tucker Anderson while Josh Henry and Dillon Tidmore completed the Top-5.
Smith closed out the weekend with a 17th-place outing at Sugar Creek Raceway (Blue Ridge, Ga.) on Saturday night.
