Garrett Smith grabs $5,000 triumph with Southern All Stars at I-75 Raceway
Kicking off the holiday weekend on Thursday evening, Garrett Smith unloaded his Cadillac Ranch No. 10 machine at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) for the $5,000-to-win Southern All Stars show.
Garrett laid down the fastest lap out of 33 Late Models and earned the pole position for the 40-lap main event. Leading flag-to-flag in the feature, Smith pocketed the $5,000 payday over Cory Hedgecock and Clay Harris. The win was Garrett's fourth checkered flag of the 2025 season.
After taking off the Fourth of July, Smith rolled into Rockcastle Speedway (Mount Vernon, Ky.) to finish out the weekend and recorded a runner-up finish in the $8,000-to-win main event. He trailed Mike Marlar while Justin Rattliff completed the podium.
