Gray wraps up busy weekend with starts at Sugar Creek and Clarksville
LYNCHBURG, Tenn. (July 28, 2025) – Jimmy Gray Motorsports capped off a busy week of 602 Crate Late Model racing with appearances in two series events at Sugar Creek and Clarksville Speedways.
Jim Gray finished 12th out of 17 entries in Red Clay 602 Series action Thursday night, July 24, at Sugar Creek Speedway in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Two nights later, Gray returned to Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway on Saturday, July 26, where he placed seventh in a nine-car field in the Quicksilver 602 Late Model Series.
“Not the finishes we were hoping for, but every lap counts,” Gray said. “We’re working to get better every week and appreciate all the support that helps us keep digging.”
Looking ahead, Gray plans to return to Clarksville on Thursday, July 31, for the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series event as he looks to gain more valuable seat time ahead of the J.R. Knight Memorial on August 9.
Jimmy Gray Motorsports competes in the 602 Crate Late Model division in a Warrior Race Car based out of Lynchburg, Tennessee.
