Setters Heading to Electric City Speedway in Search of Another Win

Inside Line Promotions – SPIRIT LAKE, Idaho (June 18, 2020) – James Setters kicks off the 2020 season this weekend in defense of a championship.

Setters won four of the five Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Series races last year as well as the Xtreme Cup for car owner Mike Quigley. The four Rocky Mountain Sprint Car Series victories led Setters to the championship and all came at Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, Mont., where the season begins on Friday.

“It’s like the go-kart track that was my home track in Missoula,” the 17-year-old said. “That’s the track I raced at growing up.

“We have some new valve springs in and freshened the car so I’m hoping all the new stuff will help us start the year with a win.”

Setters noted that he practiced at Electric City Speedway last weekend in his family 360ci sprint car, but he is unsure when his season debut will occur in that car. For now the success last year combined with practice laps last weekend give Setters confidence entering this weekend.
