(Pulaski, PA)...It was another busy weekend for all of the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Racing Series divisions presented by Born2Run Lubricants as the action continues to heat up throughout the region. Michael Norris, Nick Davis, and Bryce Davis tallied their first RUSH Late Model victories of the season. Rookie Cooper Fritz won his first career RUSH Sprint Car event, while Zach Morrow won his first of the season. Veteran Al Brewer picked up his first RUSH Pro Mod checkered flag of 2025, while Raiddan Wilson remained hot in the RUSH Stock Cars winning a pair of features.
The Hovis RUSH Late Models were in action Friday at Lernerville Speedway for a special $1,000 to-win City Chevrolet Weekly Series event. Michael Norris shot out to the early lead with Bud Watson right behind. Daryl Charlier took the second spot from Watson on lap two and set his sights on Norris. Charlier closed in on the race leader as the halfway mark approached but once Norris found himself in clean air, he wasted little time in stretching out his lead and going on to score the victory. Charlier, who won the first RUSH race at Lernerville this year, settled for second with Christian Schneider finishing third. Clinton Hersh and Tommy Schirnhofer, Jr. rounded out the top five.
Georgetown Speedway also hosted a $1,000 to win special for competitors in the RUSH Late Models last Friday night. "Nitro" Nick Davis scored his first win of 2025 to maintain his City Chevrolet Track Pack points lead. Robert Smith, Joey Warren, Derek Magee, and Ben Scott completed the top five.
Also on Friday night in RUSH Late Model City Chevrolet Weekly action, Davin Kaiser continue to add to his win total as he scored win number six of the year in seven tries at Dog Hollow Speedway. It was Kaiser's seventh overall win of 2025 as he continues to lead the City Chevrolet National Weekly Series points. Mike Laughard, Tom Snyder, Jr., Jon Lee, and Tyler Ellenberger completed the top five.
Veteran Bryce Davis tallied his first RUSH Late Model victory of the season Saturday evening at Woodhull Raceway. Austin Allen was third over Steve LeBarron. Rookie Wyatt White completed the top five for his career best finish.
Brodie Oravetz and Kyle Lukon led the RUSH Late Model field to green Saturday evening at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Oravetz led the first eight circuits before Brandon Burgoon took over the top spot. Burgoon went on to lead the remainder of the event to score his second win of the season at the Imperial, PA oval. Oravetz held on to the second spot matching his career best finish from opening night. Lukon claimed third in his first PPMS race of 2025. Clinton Hersh and Daryl Charlier were fourth and fifth for their second top five finishes in as many nights.
Jason Genco started on the pole of the RUSH Late Model main event Saturday night at Stateline Speedway. In the regularly scheduled main event, Blaze Myers captured his fifth win of the season in six tries at the Venango County half-mile. Trent Marshall came home a career best second. Arnie Kent, Morrow, and Wyatt Long rounded out the top five.
RUSH Sprint Car Billy's Garage Weekly Series action continued at Sharon Speedway Saturday evening part of the World of Outlaws Late Model program. Second year competitor Luke Mulichak led the first two circuits before veteran Arnie Kent took the top spot. A lap four caution provided Zach Morrow with the opportunity he was looking for as he was able to wrestle the second spot away from Mulichak. Morrow then set his sights on Kent and put a slider on the veteran on lap 14 to grab the lead. The duo battled for the remaining six laps with Morrow scoring the $800 win by just 0.323 seconds. It was Morrow’s first ever victory at the Hartford, OH oval and also his first since teaming up with car owner Tim Engles, but 10th of his career in the division. Mulichak was a close third to match his career best finish at the speedway. Zack Wilson and Ricky Tucker III were able to record their career best Sharon finishes in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Paul Nelson II led the first three circuits of the Hovis RUSH Pro Mod main event at Stateline Speedway before Josh Wilcox took the top spot. Wilcox led the next four circuits before veteran Al Brewer, who started fourth, took the top spot and went on to score his first win of the 2025 season. Wilcox, Tyler Oakes, Tim Peterson, and Cody Rickard completed the top five.
